Live from the Monroe County History Center on January 12th,  Saturday’s Child,  presented the B-Town Songwriter Showcase featuring Chris Wolf, Suzette Weakley and Grace Minnick.  Wintry mix with original songs.

December 8th Saturday’s Child welcomed The Hammer and The Hatchet, John Bowyer and Jayme Hood, 11am at the Monroe County History Center.  Birthed by the hill country pickin’ parties that are synonymous with these Brown County Hills. The Hammer and The Hatchet have created a sound that is reaching beyond the county line.

Saturday’s Child is WFHB’s longest running live music broadcast, airing monthly from the Monroe County History Center on the second Saturday of each month at 11 am. Live from the Monroe County History Center on September 8th, the NorTones joined a Fund Drive edition of Saturday’s Child.  Stuart Norton and Cathy Norton  on guitar and vocal, with John Orie Stith on bass and Jamey Reid on drums, doing Cathy’s songs and more.

August 11 Saturday’s Child welcomed Craig Brenner, Joe Donnelly, Lori Brenner, Cynthia Girtley, and Alfred “Uganda” Roberts for a preview of Sunday’s Bloomington Boogies. A good  audience sang along and got up to dance.
