Brenner will perform music and invite the young — and young at heart — to join him in exploring the jazzy side of blues, boogie woogie and other piano styles during this hour-long concert. He will focus on Indiana composers and musicians, and invite attendees to play along on some times using percussion instruments (provided).
The concert will take place at the Paynetown Activity Center Amphitheater, which is next to the swimming beach. Some bench seating is available. Visitors may want to bring lawn chairs.

A four piece Americana band from Louisville, KY. They’ve released two EPs, “Extra Better” in 2013, and then “Light of Day” in 2014.Through relentless touring, they’ve become mainstays of the Midwest Americana scene. In September of 2015, they set ten highway-tested, fine-tuned songs loose in the confines of LA LA Land Studios. The result is “Midwest Heart/Southern Blues”. The new album is a gritty, upbeat collection of songs, full of characters who were developed while staring over the dash of a beat up Ford van cruising through towns in the South and Midwest, whose better days are behind them.

Two brothers on Long Island vie for the attention of Sabrina, the daughter of the wealthy family’s chauffeur, played by Audrey Hepburn. Both brothers have fallen under Sabrina’s spell, but only one will win her affection. Will it be the playboy, played by William Holden, or the serious brother, played by Humphrey Bogart?
The New York Times called Sabrina “the most delightful comedy-romance in years,” and the same can be said today. This film was nominated for six Academy Awards, winning one for Best Costume Design. It also won the Golden Globe for Best Screenplay.

Networking Event: A Jelly Bean a Day Keeps the “Rut” Away
ENGAGEMENT, DIALOGUE, GAMES AND FUN:
Creative Indiana Board members Andrew Lambert and David Quick will show you that creativity helps us avoid falling into “the rut” altogether!
Participants benefit from the expertise of both business owners by walking through a two-part mini-series:
Participants follow Dave (armed with a famous “rut buster” jelly bean video) through scenarios that show how and why our challenges can be overcome through different “outcome actions”.
Andrew will get you in on the action by literally spinning the wheel of chance when he introduces “Bean Boozled.” This fast paced game allows participants to see the value in quick decisions, figuring out what to do when a “bad taste” is left in their mouth.
How to get that chance to spin again in the game of life is what it is all about!
Light refreshments provided; Bar menu and beverages available for purchase
