The Bloomington Songwriter Showcase presents it’s LAST program 2016 – a Holiday Extravaganza – ‘Sounds of the Season’ featuring a multitude of our favorite Singer-Songwriters performing songs about ‘what the Season’ means to each of them. Everyone in attendance will receive a gift.

Dance to the Stumphole String Band (Marty Mundy, Bill Lorton, and Clancy Clements) and calling by Ken Gall of Indianapolis. You must be 18 to enter. No experience necessary! Free lesson at 7:30. Sydney Piercy is a 15 year old singer songwriter from Bloomington Indiana. She picked up a guitar at age 12 and never looked back. She started playing her favorite songs, and having always enjoyed both writing and music, she soon began writing her own songs. She got her start on stage at church and local festivals, and hasn’t stopped performing since.

Come spend your New Year’s Eve at the Mitchell Opera House with Bryan White! Bryan will perform live at the Mitchell Opera House on December 31 st at 7:30 p.m. Bryan is a famous country singer best known for top billboard songs in the 90s. Some of Bryan’s most famous songs include Rebecca Lynn, Someone Else’s Star, Look at Me Now, I’m Not Supposed to Love You Anymore, and So Much for Pretending, just to name a few! One of his most famous songs was his duet with Shania Twain, From This Moment On. Bryan is currently working on launching a new album.
