NTL Encore Presentation. Directed by Academy-Award® winner Danny Boyle, this thrilling encore production features Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller alternating roles as Victor Frankenstein and his creation. Frankenstein was a sell-out hit at the National Theatre in 2011, and the broadcast has since become an international sensation, experienced by over half a million people in cinemas around the world. Childlike in his innocence but grotesque in form, Frankenstein’s bewildered Creature is cast out into a hostile universe by his horror-struck maker. Meeting with cruelty wherever he goes, the friendless Creature, increasingly desperate and vengeful, determines to track down his creator and strike a terrifying deal. The October 30 screening will feature Cumberbatch as the Creature and Miller as Victor Frankenstein.

Additional Adoption Information
The 2016 National Adoption Month will focus on the adoption of older youth currently in foster care—because “We Never Outgrow the Need for Family.”
- DCS and our partners focus year around on finding permanent families for older youth through resources such as the Indiana Heart Gallery and The Picture Book. Both profile and share stories of older youth currently in foster care and available for adoption. These stories and additional information about the Indiana Adoption Program are on the DCS adoption web page at www.adoptachild.in.gov, or you can call 888.25ADOPT.
- There has been a steady increase in adoptions since State Fiscal Year 2014 (SFY) when there were 1,038 adoptions, compared to SFY 2016, when the total number of finalized adoptions was 1,509. A report on DCS Adoption Statistics can be found at http://in.gov/dcs/3139.htm
- While this is good news, the number of children in recruitment for an adoptive family has also steadily increased to the highest we’ve ever seen. On average DCS is actively recruiting adoptive homes for 120 – 150 youth statewide. Of those, 80 percent are over the age of 11 and a quarter are a part of sibling groups.

Del McCoury is at it again. At 77 years young he is still very excited about music and creating projects that will be enjoyed by generations to come. This one might just be the most talked about as it’s rare for two artists to team up on music separated by 70+ years…some of these lyrics were written the year Del was born, but with Woody’s timeless lyrics, and Del’s timeless sound, nothing matters but the songs.
You could almost say that the cover of the new release from the Del McCoury Band tells you everything you need to know: two giants of American music, both known far and wide by their first names, guitars in hand, looking out at the world with a bold gaze and a characteristic expression. But there’s a story behind Del And Woody (McCoury Music, street date 4/15/16), a collection of Woody Guthrie lyrics set to music by Del McCoury—and while its dozen songs speak eloquently for themselves, knowing how they came to be adds a dimension that’s sure to deepen every listener’s enjoyment.
