Swindlers from halfway around the world can get their sights on local targets — and locally-based fraudsters can pick up on schemes that are being worked all over the country. Here are a couple of current examples: a con game from Somewhere Else that’s focused on people in our local area, and another that’s being worked all over the country which could result in a scammer showing up at your front door.
