An interim operating agreement between the City of Bloomington and scooter companies Lime and Bird is now official. Both the Board of Public Works and the Board of Park Commissioners approved the agreement in their meetings yesterday. Electric scooters have popped up at bike racks across Bloomington. Late last week, the California-based electric scooter company “Bird” dropped 100 scooters off in downtown Bloomington. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is trying to delay implementing its own rules, which would grant recipients of payday loans greater protections. The CFPB is looking to push the compliance date of the new rules back to August, 2019. Planned Parenthood, ACLU Sue State Over Abortion Law

Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky filed a lawsuit against the Indiana State Department of Health this morning. The suit is a challenge to the constitutionality of Senate Enrolled Act 340.
