Catalent Pharma Solutions in Bloomington is expecting a $100 million expansion. The international bio-logics firm made the announcement, today. Catalent bought out locally-owned Cook Pharma, in October, 2017. The company announced the expansion at its facility in Bloomington should be completed by 2021. Bloomington Mayor John Hamilton gave his state of the city address on Thursday, February 21. Hamilton is a first-term incumbent Democrat, running for re-election this May, against Monroe County Commissioner Amanda Barge. Last night, the Bloomington Common Council approved a $2.5 million tax break for local bio tech company, Catalent.
