Jonah Furman was the national labor organizer for Bernie Sanders’ 2020 campaign. He’s written for Labor Notes, Jacobin, and he writes a weekly update on organized labor in the U.S. on his Substack, Who Gets The Bird? Furman authored a piece which was jointly published by The Intercept and Labor Notes on how unenforced Covid-19 safety protocols at the Catalent vaccine manufacturing facility in Bloomington, Indiana led to worker Covid-19 outbreaks and thousands of dollars in lost wages. The article is called Catching COVID-19 At A Covid-19 Vaccine Production Facility.
