In this episode of The Bicentennial Journal, Scott Emery, a volunteer with the Monroe County History Center Cemetery Committee, tells the story of the Blair Cemetery, in Van Buren Township.  The cemetery consists of one headstone, that of one-year old Carlyle Blair, son of Marion and Hester Blair.  Marion Blair was a well regarded artist who painted a portrait of Abraham Lincoln’s body.
