Nick Cullather, a professor of History at Indiana University, discusses his book “The Hungry World” with reporter Susan Hu. Nick talks about U.S. government policy on hunger in Asia and around the world post World War II, including America’s attempt to fight the Cold War — and other global-political battles — with food.
