Evening of Solidarity, Part Three

Play

Welcome to Part Three of our Evening of Solidarity Episode of Hearabouts: Asian American Midwest Radio! Hearabouts is produced by WFHB and Indiana University’s Asian Culture Center. We ask critical questions about identity, culture, community and shared assumptions.

On today’s episode, we feature speakers from Bloomington United‘s Evening of Solidarity. The Evening of Solidarity was organized by Bloomington United in order to affirm Bloomington residents’ commitment to inclusion and understanding and to provide an opportunity for the community to stand together. The rally also provided information on ways individuals can fight hate and promote inclusion in the community.

Bloomington United is a coalition of community members whose mission is to promote educational opportunities that affirm the value of all human beings, bridge the differences between people, and resist and respond nonviolently to hate activity in our community.
