On Monday, June 2nd, WFHB volunteers came together for a group photo in front of the station. The photo was taken by Roman Franc (Czech Republic) and Jon Tonks (United Kingdom), collaborators who have spent the past decade photographing a wide range of community groups for their project, “Groups Collective”.
Youth Radio volunteers Ollie Schnell and Nathan Lafferty spoke with the duo at the opening reception on June 6th at the FAR Center for Contemporary Arts. They asked about the process of finding groups to photograph and their perception of Bloomington and it’s people.
