WIUX Pledge Drive Highlights Importance of Student Radio

WIUX, the student-run college radio station at Indiana University, is hosting their annual pledge drive this week, which runs from Monday, October 20th to Saturday, October 25th. In today’s feature report, WFHB Correspondent Katrine Bruner speaks with Audrey Ouillette, special events director for WIUX and volunteer at WFHB. Ouillette is responsible for planning the student radio station’s annual pledge drive. A senior at the IU Media School, Ouillette explained why the fundraiser is an important event for the station each year, and how this year’s drive will support WIUX.
