WFHB Receives 2018 Sophia Travis Grant Award

Thank you to the Sophia Travis Grant Committee and the Monroe County Council for awarding WFHB $1100 to make much needed upgrades to our studio! The grant assures that we may continue capturing the sounds of Bloomington through our Local Live programming as well as the national and international touring acts that visit Bloomington as part of our Firehouse and Lotus Live sessions. Each of these programs promote both artistry, diversity, commerce and learning opportunities for youth in Bloomington. All of which Sophia, as a former WFHB volunteer, sought to bolster.
