• WFHB’s Youth Radio teamed up with the News Department for their journalism-focused day during their Winter Camp on December 30th, 2025. The camp culminated into a final feature focusing on food insecurity in Monroe County – what it looks like locally, who it affects and how community groups are responding. That report from Youth Radio is coming up next on Rewind.

• This next archive segment comes from an episode of public affairs program Interchange that aired on October 23, 2018, called “Big Oil, Mickey Mouse, and Fascism in Latin America: The Tango War.” In it, host Doug Storm talks with journalist Mary Jo McConahay about her book The Tango War, about World War II-era struggles for control over Latin American resources, which both the Allied and Axis powers wanted to put in service of their war machines. • Up next, from the news department – we have an excerpt from the most recent edition of Bring It On, Indiana’s only weekly radio program committed to exploring the people, issues and events impacting the African-American community. In this excerpt, Bring It On hosts speak with Dr. Traci Parker, a historian, speaker, and author whose work examines African American history, civil rights, and the intersections of consumer culture and social justice. She is an Associate Professor of History at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Parker will be next week’s keynote speaker at the City of Bloomington’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Celebration at 5:30 p.m.., at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater. Stay tuned, WFHB will broadcast the event live over the airwaves on Monday at 5:30. A portion from that interview coming up next on Rewind.

• Up next, from the music department – the Firehouse welcomed Giant Day on November 15, 2025 for a very cool session ahead of their stunning show at The Orbit Room that night. Part of the extended Elephant 6 Collective family, the duo brought something special into the room. That performance and interview coming up next on Rewind.
