On Saturday, August 27th, the ninth annual Bloomington Pridefest was held. Ranked as the best college town celebration of pride in the country , the festival was held by Bloomington PRIDE, a non-profit organization committed to to advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community. With a myriad of activists, live music, drag shows, local businesses and community members all participating to show their support, it was a celebration representative of the wondrous diversity of identity. As such, WFHB Community Radio was sure to partake in the event, capturing the festivity by interviewing local residents.
