The United Way of Monroe County will soon be no more. It’s not going away; it’s merging with United Way of Lawrence County to form United Way of South Central Indiana. President and CEO Randy Rogers will lead the new entity. Rogers took over for outgoing United Way of Monroe County leader Efrat Rosser last fall. She guided the organization through the COVID pandemic and now Rogers looks to keep it thriving as the world gets back to normal. The new South Central Indiana affiliate will host its 1st Annual Blue Jean Ball fundraiser later this month.

Host Michael Glab chats with Bloomington’s most fascinating people.
