Welcome to Prescription for Healthcare, a podcast collaboration between the WFHB Local News and Medicare for All Indiana, broadcasting the second Thursday of every month as part of the Local News at 5:20 PM.
This month we interview Richard Master, prominent businessman and producer of the new movie American Hospitals, Healing a Broken System. Medicare for All Indiana screened the Indiana premier of the movie in Bloomington in April. Rep. Matt Pierce attended and addressed the parallels between this movie and Indiana hospitals. You can hear our interview with him in the February and March shows visible below.
In June we will air Part 2 of our conversation with Richard Master, discussing his role in founding Business Leaders for Healthcare Transformation. We will discuss how the business community is the “sleeping giant” that when awakened has the potential to lead the way to universal healthcare.
