Welcome to the Citizenship, Patriotism and Identity Episode of Hearabouts: Asian American Midwest Radio! Hearabouts is produced by WFHB and Indiana University’s Asian Culture Center. We ask critical questions about identity, culture, community and shared assumptions.

On today’s episode, we have an interview with Krishna Pathak, IU alum and IU Class of 2019 Commencement Speaker. In this episode, Pathak speaks about what citizenship, patriotism and identity means to him. Pathak also discusses the importance of performing civic duty and how the episode’s theme tie into civic duty.
