The Town of Ellettsville is being awarded more than $400,000 in grant funding to pave local streets.
Assistant Planner Denise Line told the Ellettsville Town Council last night, she has secured six Community Crossings Grants from the Indiana Department of Transportation.
Ellettsville will need to kick in $100,000 in matching money to receive the Community Crossings grants. The town council went on to accept contractor bids for five of the six street projects.
