The Koch brothers are reportedly spending $4 million to attack what they consider ‘vulnerable’ democratic candidates, including Joe Donnelly; Indiana Senate Republican Leader David Long announced his unexpected resignation yesterday; Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill spent yesterday evening with President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, at a reception celebrating Black History Month at the White House; The Cook Group clears another hurdle in its project to redevelop the former GE plant on Curry Pike; Monroe County Health Administrator Penny Caudill continues to encourage residents to get vaccinated for the flu.

Last night, residents gathered for the first State of the Black Community in Bloomington City Council Chambers. Presenting at the conference were Safe and Civil City Director Rafi Hasan, Black Democratic Caucus Chair William Hosea, Attorney Geoff Bradley; and Associate Professor of Literacy, Culture, and Language Education Stephanie Power-Carter.
