Indiana Outspends Nation on Political Ads

Indiana spent more on political advertising this primary election than any other state in the nation. According to an analysis by the Wesleyan Media Project, Indiana candidates have spent $8.8 million on ads this primary season. That’s $2 million more than the second place spender, Ohio. Police, Emergency Services Gearing Up for Little 500

This Friday is the official beginning of Indiana University’s Little 500 bicycle race in Bloomington. Bloomington Police Department Captain Steve Kellams said all officers are on-duty for ‘America’s Greatest College Weekend.’ Around 25,000 visitors and students attend the Little 500 bicycle race and other festivities around the IU Bloomington campus every year.
