Herald-Times Sold to NY Publisher

The Herald-Times is among eight Indiana newspapers sold to Gatehouse Media. South-Bend based Schurz Communications Inc. purchased The Herald-Times, in 1966. Area Unemployment Among Highest in State

Owen, Greene, and Monroe Counties are among the highest unemployment rates in the state.
