Food Stamp Cuts Would Leave Locals Ineligible, Hungry
The U.S. House of Representatives struck down the first draft of the Federal Farm bill, yesterday. The bill, which is rewritten every four years, provides subsidies and insurance to farmers and agricultural businesses.
