On June 21st, Bloomington Pride hosted a panel discussion to discuss the recent Pulse massacre. They did this by going through history, starting with Stonewall and moving through time to discuss how LGBTQ+ individuals have been treated in the past. Doug Bauder, Glorianne “Glo” Leck, Duncan Mitchell, and Jeanne Smith were panelists at the event. The group discussed the hardships they’ve faced over time, as well has how they think the treatment of LGBTQ+ individuals has changed.
