On Tuesday, June 11, South Bend Mayor and Democratic Presidential Candidate Pete Buttigieg outlined his foreign policy agenda.

‘Mayor Pete’ addressed U.S. foreign policy towards North Korea, Russia, and China, and what he called the ‘disastrous effects’ of  current policies towards Mexico and Central American nations. Buttigieg also called on U.S. foreign policy to take a tougher approach on Israel, particularly when it came to abuses of Palestinian human rights.

But the 37 year-old earned his biggest applause by calling for a carbon offset tax, to combat global climate change.
