WFHB Bloomington Community Radio
WFHB kicked off its Spring Fund Drive on April 22 this year and it felt fitting to forego the usual mass mailing associated with our annual campaign to honor Earth Day. We are using the medium of radio and electronic communication to spread the message and reduce our carbon footprint.
While this decision is a good step forward in helping the planet, it does not come without some negative consequences in the short term for WFHB. Many donors are accustomed to receiving a “heads up” in the mail that our campaign is about to start and frequently use the envelopes and pledge forms provided to send back their donations. As a result, we are behind on our fundraising goals compared to where we usually are this far into our campaign. With your help we can get there.
We must stay on track with our fundraising goals to keep operating. The radio never stops – that is, until it cannot afford to keep going. Would you help us spread the word to help us raise the funds we need by May 1? Any amount is appreciated, and monthly sustaining memberships are particularly helpful for both you and us for budgeting.
