Featured Pet: Wobbles, at White River Humane Society!
Wobbles is an affectionate and playful kitten – a “teenager” at about 7 or 8 months – with black fur and a small white patch on his chest. In the lobby of White River Humane Society, Wobbles showed calmness and curiosity around strangers. He also has a history of getting along well with other cats and dogs.
Before Wobbles arrived at WRHS, he had been injured – presumably by a car. His back hips had been fractured and have healed back, resulting in an abnormal gait. His front leg has some nerve damage, so he can’t really feel it and he doesn’t really use it.
WRHS is seeking a foster-to-adopt situation for Wobbles, as his front leg may need to be removed and he will need to be neutered. If an amputation occurs, Wobbles would need a caregiver to provide post-op care and ensure that he remains an indoor cat.
