The Limestone Post is an independent, nonprofit organization that began in 2015 with the hope to inform members of the community through the lens of artists, writers, photographers, and more.

M.J. Bower, a Speech language pathologist and local artist in Bloomington decided in the late summer of 2019 to work with the local magazine on informing the Bloomington community on local art and its importance to the town. Bower grew up on the east coast in Maine, so when she moved to Bloomington she was expecting to see corn and flat fields for miles. But what she discovered was completely different.
