Bloomington Redevelopment Committee

On June 5th at the Bloomington Redevelopment Committee meeting, Director of Housing and Neighborhood Development John Zody gave the Director’s Report.

Committee Member Deb Hutton asked when they expect to hear back from HUD or the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development about the grants HAND applied for. Zody responded.

Later, the commission discussed an agreement with U-3 Advisors, for owner’s representative consultant services for Hopewell. Vice President of J-S Held, Deb Kunce presented on the contract with U-3 Advisors.

Committee Member Cindy Kinnarney asked if U-3 Advisor would prioritize using local developers. U-3 Advisors Managing Director Todd Stern responded.

Kinnarney asked if they could include a quarterly reporting requirement for U-3 Advisors to report to the Redevelopment Commission.

Stern said they are happy to provide quarterly reports.
