Ellettsville Town Council
On May 8th at the Ellettsville Town Council meeting, Envision Ellettsville Member Dan Rarey announced that they will have a meeting on Tuesday, May 16th at 6 p.m. Council President William Ellis commented that he was glad the meeting would be held in the evening.
Next, Town Manager Mike Farmer introduced a presentation from Ziptility. Farmer said they have been working with Ziptility since 2018.
Ziptility C-O-O Jesse Kurth gave a presentation on how the town has been using their software, and what they can use it for in the future.
Farmer said that Ziptility has been a much cheaper option for the town compared to other geographic information systems, or G-I-S software.
Ellis asked if the data from Ziptility would be able to be transferred to a G-I-S software if they ever need to switch to that in the future. Kurth said that it is able to do that.
The Ellettsville Town Council will vote on the water rate increase ordinance at their next meeting on May 22nd.
