Geologist Walter Alvarez is in town through the class of 1943 Wells Scholars Program as a visiting professor for two weeks. Co-teaching with Alverez are husband and wife Nicholas Toth, and Kathy Schick, both Indiana University professors and co-directors of the Center for Research into the Anthropological Foundations of Technology and the Stone Age Institute.
