On Friday June 10th, concerned Southern Indiana residents met to discuss how to protect the Hoosier National Forest from a logging and burning project the Forest Service announced back in October 2021.
The group, Save the Hoosier National Forest, opposes the Buffalo Springs Restoration Project, and wants to make sure the forest is protected for future generations and to help mitigate the effects of climate change.
WFHB Assistant News Director Noelle Herhusky-Schneider spoke with Forest Activist and Paoli resident, Andy Mahler, about the meeting.
