New Hope Family Shelter is the only emergency shelter in Monroe County that keeps homeless families together. The first annual New Hope Family Shelter 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, September 15 on the B-line Trail, to raise funds for New Hopes daily operations, as well as expanding their services. The 5K comes complete with an after party at Max’s Place, a community collaboration based on finding new hope for health and happiness – that story here, in a WFHB Feature Exclusive.
