Welcome to Prescription for Healthcare, a podcast collaboration between the WFHB Local News and Medicare for All Indiana, broadcasted live the second Thursday of every month as part of the Local News at 5:20 PM.

This month we interview Dr Betty Keller in Vermont about her exciting work with a summer internship program inspiring medical students across the country. The primary goal of the internship is to cultivate leaders who will fuse a solid understanding of health policy with the basic values of kindness and human decency so that they can transform the U.S. health care system to be on the one hand efficient, and on the other humane.
