Welcome to the 60th episode Hearabouts: Asian American Midwest Radio. Hearabouts is produced by Indiana University’s Asian Culture Center in collaboration with WFHB. We ask critical questions about identity, culture, community and shared assumptions. This episode is produced by Andrew Pace and Melanie Castillo-Cullather. Our sound engineer is Michael Sears and episode editor is Brian Yu.

This is the second episode of a two part installment for Women’s History Month, featuring the voices of AAPI women warriors of Indiana. On this episode, young Pacific Islander activists, Dana Taborn and Leilanu Jackson of IU’s Pacific Islander Student Association will be on the show. Our guests will talk about what Women’s History Month means to them, the challenges, and the fulfillment that their advocacy work brings and the important issues facing AAPI women today.
