Welcome to the 70th episode of Hearabouts: Asian American Midwest Radio. Hearabouts is produced by Indiana University’s Asian Culture Center in collaboration with WFHB. We ask critical questions about identity, culture, community and shared assumptions. This episode is produced by Ming Wang and Melanie Castillo-Cullather.

In this special episode we interview Matthew Luo, a sophomore at IU to talk about his experiences as a dual citizen of the US and Taiwan. Our conversation focuses on the how the nations compare and how growing up in two different environments has shaped him.
