Hosts William Hosea and Roberta Radovich are honored to welcome Nordia McNish, whose story was recently featured in The Herald Times.  She is a young single mother who has managed to overcome the odds. She was an undocumented immigrant from Jamaica who has managed to pursue her bachelor’s degree at Indiana University (Bloomington) while also enduring homelessness. She now holds a student visa and is scheduled to graduate in the spring. Today she discusses her journey to IU, how she has managed to persist, and the factors that have led her to pursue a career as a social worker.

In addition, William Hosea and Roberta Radovich take some time to honor the legacy of the recently passed U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings (D – MD, 7th District) in the last segment of the program.
