Bring It On! – January 25, 2021: Black History Month & Wealth Building

Today’s hosts of Bring  It On!, Clarence Boone and William Hosea spend the first half of the show speaking with Shatoyia Moss, Bloomington’s Safe and Civil City Director, and Gloria Howell, the Director of IU’s Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center, about the events being held by the City of Bloomington and the Indiana University Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center to commemorate National Black History Month.  The theme for 2021 is “The Show Goes On”, which speaks to the resilience of a people who utilized some of their most valuable assets – creative and artistic expression – to overcome obstacles and navigate uncertain circumstances, while still coming out on top.

In the second half of the program, hosts Clarence Boone and William Hosea speak to William Dennis about exploring the wealth-building strategies used by “Generation Y” Black stock investors. He demystifies some of the misconceptions about stock market investing and explains the importance of wealth-building.
