Today’s hosts of Bring It On!, Clarence Boone and William Hosea, welcome to the show Dr. Jospeh Hoffman and retired Major General Craig Q. Timberlake to assess what we should expect with the scheduled start of the second impeachment trial of former U.S. President Donald J. Trump. He was impeached shortly before the end of his term for acting as a major catalyst for the January 6 insurrection of the Capital Building, which led to the death of five people. In addition, Dr. Hoffman and Major General Timberlake analyze how this impeachment trial will likely affect the course of President Biden’s first 100 days in office.

Dr. Joseph Hoffman is the Harry Pratter Professor of Law at the Maurer School of Law at Indiana University. He is is a past recipient of the Law School Gavel Award and the university-wide Outstanding Young Faculty Award. He is also recognized nationally as an authority on the death penalty and writes extensively about criminal procedure and habeas corpus law.

Major General Craig Q. Timberlake is currently the director of the Manpower Management Division in Quantico, VA. Previously, he was the Deputy Commander of the 3rd Marine Expeditionary Forces. He is a graduate of Mary Washington College and served in the marines for 41 years before retiring in 2018.
