Host Clarence Boone presents an overview of  Bloomington’s 3rd Annual State of the Black Community Address, which took place on February 4th in the City Hall Council Chambers.  He welcomes three speakers who addressed different issues at the Annual State of the Bloomington Black Community. First, he speaks with Bring It On! assistant producer and Chair of the Board of Commissioners for the Bloomington Housing Authority, William Hosea, who addressed the status of Black-Owned Businesses. The second segment of the show features Dr. Tennisha Riley, a postdoctoral scholar at the IU Center for Research on Race and Ethnicity in Society,  who addressed the status of Black Youth’s Mental Health. In the final segment of the show, Clarence speaks with Dr. Greg Carter, Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Science of Nursing Care at IU School of Nursing- Bloomington, whose research partner addressed the state of Black Male Health at Bloomington’s 3rd Annual State of the Bloomington Black Community.
