Dr. McCluskey is an IU emeritus faculty member, past Director of the Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center, and past Director of Graduate Studies for the Department of African American & African Diaspora Studies. Dr.McCluskey shares her scholarly insight into the emergence of the “Colored Schools” in America.
