On today’s edition of Bring It On!, hosts, Clarence Boone and Liz Mitchell spend the hour with Malcolm Abrams, the editor and publisher of Bloom Magazine. He discusses his passion for publishing Bloom and why he is driven to showcase the diversity and richness that is Bloomington.

Bloom Magazine is a bimonthly culture and lifestyle magazine published in Bloomington. Founded in 2005 by editor and publisher Malcolm Abrams, Bloom is an independent and free magazine, which highlights and promotes inclusion and diversity in every issue. Within its pages, peppered with high-quality photography, readers learn about Bloomington’s, local community, the arts, entertainment, food and wine, fashion and shopping, health and fitness, and business and finance.

This month marks their 100th publication, which is an achievement for an individual with a lengthy career in news and print. Abrams worked for Rupert Murdoch as vice president/editorial director of Murdoch Business Magazines, where he was responsible for twenty publications including Travel Weekly, Meetings & Conventions, and Business and Commercial Aviation. Abrams is also the co-author of “Future Stuff,” and its sequel, “More Future Stuff,” both published by Viking Penguin.
