Climate researchers are predicting warmer and wetter winters and springs for Indiana in the coming decades. What does that mean for the state’s agriculture sector?

WFHB’s Norm Holy explores this question with Dr Laura Bowling, professor of Agronomy at Purdue University. Dr Bowling is the lead author of a study on the future of agriculture produced by Purdue’s Climate Change Research Center.

This is the first installment of a two-part conversation. You can hear the second part of their conversation in next week’s show. You can find Dr Bowling’s study and the rest of the Indiana Climate Change Impacts Assessment online at https://ag.purdue.edu/indianaclimate/
