The Indiana Department of Environmental Management has approved locating a coal to diesel plant in the town of Dale, in Southwestern Indiana. That plant would process raw coal and convert it to diesel fuel. But residents of Dale are resisting, citing concerns about pollution and safety.
In today’s feature report, WFHB News Director Wes Martin speaks with environmental activists Mary Hess and Rock Emmert of No Coal 2 Diesel. The group is holding a public forum about the proposed plant on Thursday, November 1, 2018, at 7 p.m. EST at the Heritage Hills High School Auditorium in Lincoln City, Indiana.
