With the November General Election coming soon, WFHB wants to share some information on voting in Indiana. The last day you can register to vote before this year’s general election is Monday, October 5th. Early voting opens the following Tuesday, October 6th. The deadline to apply for an absentee or mail-in ballot is October 22nd. Indiana remains one of the few states that has not adopted no-excuse absentee voting during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, so you’ll need to make sure you qualify for an absentee ballot. Brown County residents can find voting resources online at BrownCountyLibrary.info/voting -resources. Lawrence County residents can find this information at LawrenceCounty.in.gov/Government/voter- registration
