Middle Way House’s Board of Directors announced this afternoon a new slate of officers, including a new president.
The board voted in four new officers for the next two years, including Kathleen Sideli, who will take over from Michael De Nunzio as president.
Sideli is the Associate Vice President for overseas study at IU. In the ‘90s she served as president of the Stone Belt Arc, advocating on behalf of individuals with developmental disabilities. Sideli served as president of the Quarryland Men’s Chorus, and is the former president of the board of the Unitarian-Universalist Church of Bloomington.
Sideli says outgoing president De Nunzio will continue to sit on the board of directors, and that the transition will not effect services. The Board also approved Michele Ridge as vice president, Sally Dunn continuing as secretary, and Judy Maki continuing as treasurer. Sideli and Ridge both joined the board in the spring of 2016.
