There’s a saying that goes “it’s never too late to be what you could have been.” What if you want to be an avid reader, but you have poor literacy skills? Or, say, you want to be a teacher, but life took a different turn? Sometimes when you’re brave enough to try, someone really great steps up to help. WFHB Assistant News Director Sarah Vaughan brings us this story for today’s WFHB community report. The next orientation for new volunteer tutors is tomorrow, June 7th from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Monroe County Public Library. The website again is mcpl.info/vital.
