It’s the time of year when schools gets their report card from the US Department of Education. Schools are subject to compliance with both state and federal education laws. At the federal level is No Child Left Behind, a set of metrics that determine if a school is making adequate yearly process or AYP. AYP standards escalate each school year. At the meeting of the Monroe County Community School Corporation on Tuesday night, cirrculum directors Cameron Rains and Jan Bergeson presented the 2010 report card.
