Mountain Girl, formerly named Trixie Joe, is a young Great Dane/Anatolian Shepherd mix, currently residing with the City of Bloomington Animal Shelter. She has been very sweet with all of the shelter staff and quickly became a staff favorite. She can be nervous of loud noises and quick movements. She unfortunately experienced harsh training methods and interactions prior to coming to the shelter, but would do great with someone who understands sensitive dogs that may not have much confidence. She will definitely need a person whom she can look to for guidance. Mountain Girl has a lot of love to give, and with patience and love, there is confidence that she will flourish.
